Russell Cameron trained horse Lady of Harrods won the Schweppes Thousand Guineas Prelude - 1400m in race 6. The 3 year old Dubawi filly won a half head against the favourite Commanding Jewel. This is Lady of Harrods 2nd up win, after winning the McNeil Stakes which is a group 3 races. Lady of Harrods now has 3 wins from her 6 starts to date and has prize money of $232,200 and can run from 1100m to 1400m. Job well done to trainer Russell Cameron and jockey Steven Arnold.

New Zealand galloper Ocean Park won the Underwood Stakes against Voila Ici, December Draw and Southern Speed. The $8 chance beats the $2 favourite Manighar who finished 6th in the race. Ocean Park with 10 wins and 11 placing from his 31 starts has prize money of $500,000 and has a minimum win distance of 1200m and a maximum win distance of 1800m.

Randwick

It’s a Dundeel still unbeaten after winning the Gloaming Stakes last Saturday at Randwick. This New Zealand galloper won by a 1 and ¼ length against Honorius while Lunar Rise was a head away third. It’s a Dundeel now has $166,000 in prize money and can run from 1200m to 1800m.

Longport trained by John Thompson won the Tea Rose Stakes on a protest against Norzita ridden by Corey Brown. Longport was an $81 chance in the race and beaten the $2.50 favourite Dear Demi who run 4th. Longport now has 3 wins and 1 placing from her 5 starts to date.

Jim Cassidy has ridden another winner as Steps in Time takes out the Bill Ritchie Handicap group 3 race. The $6 chance Steps in Time beaten the $4.40 favourite Said Com by a 1 and ¼ length. John O’Shea trained horse Steps in Time now has 6 wins and 2 placing from her 12 starts to date and can run from 1200m to 1400m.

The 6 year old gelding trained by Chris Waller, Shoot Out won the Group 1 George Main Stakes – 1600m race against Rangirangdoo and Secret Admirer, while All Too Hard finishes 4th. The George Main Stakes was Shoot Out first up win after finishing 2nd on the Doncaster Mile last April.
