ROSEHILL

Peter Snowden trained horse Epaulette won the Golden Rose Stakes at Rosehill last Saturday. The 3 year old colt by Commands now has 3 wins and 2 placing from his 6 and only starts to date. Ridden by Tommy Berry, Epaulette won by a head against Albrecht while his stable mate Ashokan run 3rd completing the trifecta. Winning this race we could see this talented gelding in the Caulfield Guineas.

More Joyous won the 1200m Listed Sheraco Stakes. The eight group 1 winner was a $1.16 favourite and started in barrier 6 in a small field of 7. More Joyous connections were very happy of her spring return success. The More Than Ready mare was trained by Gai Waterhouse and ridden by Nash Rawiller. More Joyous now has a record of 20 wins and 2 placing from her 27 starts, with prize money of $4,319,650 she can run from 1100m to 2000m.

The 5 year old gelding from USA Stout Hearted won the Kingston Town Stakes by a length and a half against Crafty Irna while early favourite Strawberry Boy runs 3rd. This talented stayer now has prize money of $267,601 from his 6 wins and 4 placing and can run from 1400m to 2006 meter.

Happy Trails trained by Paul Beshara from Morphettville won the Group 2 1600m Feehan Stakes. The 5 year old gelding by Good Journey now has 4 wins and 11 placing from his 26 starts do date. He was ridden by Glen Boss and started in barrier 10 in full field of 12. Talented gelding Happy Trails has a minimum win distance of 1100m and a maximum win distance of 1600m.

Oasis Bloom won the group 2 1600m Top Cut Stakes against the early favourite Spirit Song. The 4 year old mare by Al Maher has a minimum win distance of 1600m and has a maximum win distance of 1700m. Oasis Bloom was ridden by Glen Boss and started in barrier 9 in a full field of 11.
