Peter Moody trained horse Ready to Rip won the Group 3 weight for age Bletchingly Stakes beating the early favorite Zamorar. Mick Price trained horse Heart of Dreams didn't have a chance to join the race because he has a throat infection. Ready to Rip, now has 7 wins and 4 placing from his 19 starts to date. Ready to Rip great sustaining power beats Zamorar, with Luke Nolen and Peter Moody winning double at Caulfield last Saturday. Luke Nolen and Peter Moody also celebrate their 600th win, thanks to Club Command winning the final event.

Morphettville

Platelet got scratched out of the Lightning Stakes at Morphettville last Saturday. Avoid Lightning wins the Lightning Stakes from Vatican and beating the favorite Le Societe. Diamond Earth took the early lead with Avoid the Lightning been able to push through and got the 2nd position. On the home turn its still Diamond Earth the leader with Avoid the Lightning on the inside and Vatican from the outside then further back National Disaster and Le Societe. On the 200m Avoid the Lightning took the lead from Diamond Earth with Vatican showing some speed. Avoid The Lightning to good and unbeaten from his last 5 starts won the race by 2 and half lengths from Vatican. His been trained perfectly for Lightning Stakes.

Warwick Farm

Spinnawitch won the Winter Challenge Stakes at Warwick Farm last Saturday. This brown mare by Country Reel (USA) has 3 wins and 5 placing from his 14 starts to date. Her last 2 starts were ridden by jockey Blake Shin. Forty Thirty got 2nd, while Winning Glory got the 3rd spot and Irish Dream 4th.
