What a rainy weekend it has been, but glad to see some high prize winners...

Belmont

Chester Road got scratched from the race last week so 2nd best rated Mr. Moet ($1.50) got the top position. Lost Me Jewels took the lead up to the 600m but Mr Moet and stablemate Moneghetti starts to work and took the lead from Lost Me Jewels but Mr Moet strong enough and winning the race by a length from Moneghetti and the early leader Lost Me Jewels last of all.

Caulfield

Platelet ridden by Damian Lane won the Dominant Handicap at Caulfield last Saturday. Platelet the winner won by half length against Gig and Pixie Eyes. Spanski and Champaigne Shisha also did a great job in the race but Platelet to good for them won the race. Platelet was trained by Darren Weir now has 4 wins and 6 placing from 11 starts to date.

Sunshine Coast

In race 7 the Signwave Caloundra Cup was won by Shenzhou Steeds (NZ) ($3.90). Shenzhou Steed jumped well while Za Magic took the early lead with Crosscannons in 2nd. Two lengths away was Anudjawan and another 2 lengths away Shenzhou Steeds sitting in the 5th position. On the 1000m Za Magic got a lovely run and Anudjawan still on the 2nd spot on the inside with Shenzhou Steed tracking him. As they reached the 400m they start to run fast and its Sheenzhou Steed raced away winning the race.
