Belmont

Gino Poletti's talented trained horse Luckygray won 3 Group races in different distances. He won the 1200m Roma Cup, the 1400m Belmont Sprint and the 1600m Hyperion Stakes last Saturday. Luckygray having 10 wins and 1 placing from his 13 starts to date has prize money of $1,135,675 and can run from 1200m to 1600m and win. He was ridden by Shaun O' Donnel and paid $1.30. Rosie Rocket and Grand Nirvana were dead heat for 2nd, while Reimbursment got 4th place.

Eagle Farm

Pear Tart won the Group 1 Tatts Tiara last Saturday at Eagle Farm. John Thompson, trainer of Pear Tart feared that the galloper won’t make it because of the injury Pear Tart suffered. Pear Tart hit her head in the Float in May. Her head was badly swollen but luckily she was very responsive with the medication and makes it to the race winning it giving her trainer his 3rd Group 1 success.

Flemington

Manado’s won the David Bourke Provincial Plate (1630m) last Saturday at Eagle Farm. The Nigel Blankiston trained galloper was drawn wide in barrier 13. Jockey Steven King did a great job riding the horse, Menados was settled well back in the field, and coming from the outside challenged New York winning the race by 3 lengths. Menados, now has 4 wins and from his 6 and only starts to date.
