Its been raining at the races, lots of wet tracks as expected but we still got high quality winners....


Rosehill

Rosehill was rated a heavy track last Saturday. Gai Waterhouse trained horse Reuben Percival got scratched in the race and Adroitly ($2.00), the 4 year old gelding by Octagonal (NZ) won this years 3200m Stayers Cup. This galloper is trained by Peter Snowden from Warwick Farm and was ridden by Kerrin McEcoy. Adroitly was also the winner of this years 2400m Mckell Cup at Randwick last month. Adroitly can ran on wet track and win so the track last Saturday was a big advantage for him.

Runners up were ROI D'JEU 2nd ($3.20), REIGNING 3rd and ASHWAHGANDHA 4th.

Flemington

Flemington was rated a dead track last saturday and Peter G Moody got 2 winners in this meeting. One of his winning horse was Club Command (tipped by auzform), a 3 year old gelding by commands has 4 wins and 2 placing from his 6 and only starts to date and can handle any kind of track condition. Club Command, ridden by Jake Duffy was to good, winning the race by a length and 3 quarters.

Belmont

Chester Road (tipped by auzform) won the TABOZBET.COM.AU HANDICAP (2000 METRES) at Belmont last Saturday. The Tiger Hill (IRE) gelding, now has 7 wins and 5 placing from his 17 starts to date. Chester Road was trained by Adam Durrant and was ridden by Peter Knuckey. Chester Road has a minimun win distance of 1000m and a maximum win distance of 2200m.
