The 2 year old colt by More Than Ready (USA) from November Flight, Ashokan ($11.50) won this campaign against the early favourite Raceway. Gai Waterhouse trained horse, Raceway didn’t jump well from the start and got a hard time on the turn but still manage to get a place, while Ashokan stayed outside the leader and sprint well at the 200m mark and win.

Raceway 2nd ($1.04), Collect 3rd ($1.50) and Limes 4th.

Race 3 Les Johnson Memorial Sweet Embrace Stakes (1200m)

Chris Waller trained horse Jade Marauder ($3.90) won this race even though she missed the start. The 2 year old filly by Fastnet Rock from Jade Diva has 2 wins and 2 placing from its 4 starts to date. This horse has a lot of ability and seeing it winning group races.

The very talented filly by Fastnet Rock from Sumehra (NZ) Mosheen won this campaign against the early favourite Manawanui. Even though drawn wide in barrier 12 in a field of 14 on a slow track she still manages to win the race. This talented filly is trained by Caulfield trainer Robert Smerdon and was ridden by Danny Nikolic.

Said Com 2nd ($6.30), Laser Hawk 3rd ($6.30) and Ambidexter 4th.
