Race 4 D'Urban Angus Armanasco Stakes (1400m)

The 3 year old filly by Pins from Splashing Out (NZ) Shopaholic ($6.00) won the Armanasco Stakes (tipped by auzform). At the beginning of the race Soft Sand and Anabandana are racing for the lead, together with Cute Emily and Shopaholic just stays on the midfield across the rail. But up towards the home turn Soft Sand took the lead and at the 100m mark Shopaholic move in to the race and passed the leader Soft Sand and win the race.

Runners up were Soft Sand 2nd ($1.50), Cute Emily 3rd ($6.20) and Twilighting 4th.

Race 5 Cathay Pacific Futurity Stakes (1400)

Mr Stephen McKee trained galloper King Mufhasa ($2.40) won easily and took the lead all throughout the race (tipped by auzform). The 7 year old gelding by Pentire (GB) from Sheila Cheval (NZ) King Mufhasa won by a length against the Cox Plate winner Pinker Pinker. King Mufhasa now has 18 wins and 11 placings from its 49 starts to date and a prize money of $2,518,760.

Runners Up were Pinker Pinker 2nd ($1.40), Andamantium 3rd (2.40) and Playing God 4th.

Race 7 Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m)

The 2 year old filly by More Than Ready from Samar, and Mr Mick Price trained horse Samaready($2.20) won the richest two year old race in Victoria (tipped by auzform). Ridden by Craig Newitt, Samaready won the race in an incredible speed beating the 2nd place No Looking Back by 3 lengths. It’s an easy win for the filly as she stormed home in the beginning of the 200m mark and win.

Runners up were No Looking Back 2nd ($2.30), Armed For Action 3rd ($6.10) and Jimando 4th.

ROSEHILL

Race 6 Hako Australia Apollo Stakes (1400m)

The 4 year old gelding by Commands from I Believe Rain Affair ($1.50) won easily and took the lead all throughout the race (tipped by auzform). Trained by Joseph Pride from Warwick Farm, Rain Affair has won 10 from its 11 starts to date. He was ridden by Corey Brown and started in barrier 12 in a race with a field of 13 and still manage to win by 3 lengths against his opponents. This galloper has an incredible speed and ability you must look for it next starts.

Runners up were Shoot Out 2nd ($2.00), Danleigh 3rd ($4.30) and Herculian Prince 4th.
