FLEMINGTON

Talindert Stakes 1100m

First starter and Mr. John Hawkes trained galloper All Too Hard ($3.10) got his first win by winning the Talindert Stakes. All Too Hard is a 2 year old colt by Casino Prince from Helsinge and was ridden by Dywane Dunn.

Runners up were Liberty Rock 2nd ($1.80), Timely Truce 3rd ($3.20) and Rappers Delight 4th.

The Vanity 1410m

Mosheen has a great run but didn't finish off and was beaten by Shopaholic by a neck. Shopaholic was trained by Danny O'Brien, a trainer from Flemington and was ridden by Dwayne Dunn. Shopaholic ($11.40) was racing well and you can see that she put all her effort to win the race. Luckily her effort paid off as she won the race against the favourite Mosheen.

Runners up were Mosheen 2nd ($1.04), Angel Of Mercy 3rd ($3.00) and Great Dame 4th.

Coolmore Lightning Stakes 1000m

Champion mare Black Caviar won the Coolmore Lightning Stakes for the second time against Hay list by. Black Caviar proved that she's still the best sprinter in the world by beating Hay List probably the second best sprinter in the world by 1 3/4L. Black Caviar 19th win equals the Australasian record of Desert Gold and Gloaming on 19 consecutive wins. Truly Hay List puts the Champion mare to test but Black Caviar's ability is above the level of any horse in Australia. The Champion mare's time 55.53 seconds for the 1000m, only 0.03 seconds difference from the track record of 55.50 seconds.

Place getters were Hay List 2nd ($1.40), Buffering ($4.40) and Foxwedge 4th.

WARWICK FARM

Mrs Gai Waterhouse has every right to celebrate as her 2 years old trained gallopers Driefontein and Raceway (both tipped by auzform) won the 2 major races in Warwick Farm last Saturday. Driefontein won the Tom Cassar Stakes (1100m) for two year old fillies while Raceway won the Sharp Canonbury Stakes (1100m)for colts and geldings. Driefontein having her 4 straight wins truly proved that she has an amazing ability and an absolute quality galloper. The Sharp Canonbury Stakes was Raceway 2nd career win.

NSW Breeders Classic 1200m

The 4 year old mare by Danehill Dancer (IRE) from Rare Insight (NZ) Steps in Time ($5.20) won the 1200m Breeders Classic. This galloper is trained by Mr John O'Shea and ridden by Jim Casiddy. She has 4 wins and 2 placings from her 7 starts to date. Before winning this Stake, she first won the Sizzlers 1250m race at Canterbury 28th of January this year. Its a tough race for Steps In Time as she won by a neck against the favourite Beaded, but she gave all the she got and successfully win the race.

She won against the favourite Beaded who only run 2nd ($1.40), Red Tracer 3rd ($1.30) and Alberton Park 4th.
