Doomben

My Destiny successfully won the $200,000 Lough Neagh Stakes Last Saturday December 24 at Doomben Race 7 while Ready To Rip came 2nd and Adebisi 3rd. Though the race had an early casualty due to Zero Rock been pulled shortly after the start, Zero Rock is suspected to have a pelvis injury. My Destiny gave his jockey Jay Ford its second win in the 1350m feature. Trainer Con Karakatsanis mission for next year is the $400,000 Magic MIllions Cup Gold Coast (1400m) on january 14.

Canterbury

King Of love came third at the restricted 3 year olds and upwards 80 class handicap (1250m) at Canterbury Park last Saturday December 24 2011. King Of Love was defeated by Royal Esprit a 7 year old gelding trained by Kembla Grange trainer Gwenda Markwell. Royal Esprit has now 5 wins and 7 placings from its 35 starts.

Morphetville

The 3 year old colt Beware of Thestorm won the restricted 3 year old class 75 (1950m) and paid a massive $22.50 on TAB last saturday December 24 at Morphetville Race 3. This galloper is trained by Camperdown trainer Dr. John McArthur. Beware of Thestorm carried 56Kg in weight and started from barrier 2. Beware of Thestorm has notched 2 wins from its 8 starts. Beware of Thestorm truely has improved its ability by winning the 59 class and now the 75 class.

Kembla Grange

The 5 year old gelding Special Command won the Class 1 (1300m) race at Kembla Grange race 5. Special Command carried a weight of 53Kg and started from barrier 6. This galloper is trained by kembla Grange by trainer Bede Murray. Special Command paid $14.20 in the TAB. Runner ups in the race are Noble Romp 2nd, French Charge 3rd and Windsurfer 4th.
