Warwick Farm

The battle between the best sprinters in Australia at Warwick Farm was in Race 5 the $100,000 McGrath Razor Sharp Handicap (1200m) was one of the most exciting races of last Saturday Dec. 17,2011.

The beggining of the race saw Rarefied go straight to the lead but Stratana came out very fast from the outside and took the lead followed by News Alert. Rarefied regained the lead back from Stratana and a close fight began between Rarefied and News Alert at the end of 600m with News Alert winning by a very close margin to Rarefied. New Alert 1st ($8.70) followed by Rarefied, Stratana and Ollie Vollie.

Still at Warwick Farm in Race 6 $175,000 Inglis Villiers Stakes saw Monton win ($13.70) followed by Kontiki Park 2nd with King Lionheart 3rd with Miss Keepsake taking 4th.

Monton after winning its last and only start to date at Rosehill Saturday December 3, 2011 the $100,000 Handicap race settled 5th in the middle of the race, to finish fast taking the lead to record a strong win, might pay to follow him in the future.

Eagle Farm
In the $100,000 3 Year old Open on Saturday December 17 at Eagle Farm Race 7 (1200m) saw Biggles win paying $6.20 followed by Easy Running, Show A Prize and Spinhro.

Ascot
Ascot 7th race saw the higly favoured Ranger only manage 3rd in the race on Saturday 17, 2011 (2100m). Ranger lost finishing 3rd to God Has Spoken paying $14.60 followed by Kincaple in 2nd place and Tranqulity 4th.

God Has Spoken finaly broke through for its first win from its last five unsuccessful starts.

December 18, 2011 at New Zealand Meeting Gore Race 3 (1335m) Shatarka won at amazing odds 40/1 paying a massive $43.00.
