Gerald Ryan trained horse Snitzerland will be one of the acceptances in the group 3 Champagne Stakes - 1200m race. This race is open for 3 years old fillies in set weights, and the winner will take out $90,000 and trophy worth $1000. The Snitzel filly won the S Domenico Stakes at Rosehill beating Driefontein and recently just won the Danehill Stakes at Flemington. Snitzerland will start in barrier 1 in a field of 10 and will be ridden by Corey Brown.

In race 6 the Spotless A.J. Moir Stakes – 1200m group 2 races will have 8 acceptances. The weight for age race has a stake prize of $300,000 and the winner of this race will receive $180,000 and $2500 trophy. Peter Moody has Ready to Rip, while Robert Heathcote entered Buffering, Tiger Tees trained by Joseph Pride and Platelet trained by Darren Weir are also acceptances for the race.

Gai Waterhouse trained horse Pierro will try to take out the City Jeep Bill Stutt Stakes – 1600m group 2 races. The race has only 8 acceptances with Pierro starting in barrier 3 and will be ridden by Nash Rawiller. The unbeaten Lonhro colt will try to make his record 8 from 8. Pierro has a minimum win distance of 1000m and has a maximum win distance of 1600m.

The Programmed Property JRA Cup 2040m group 3 quality handicap races will have 16 acceptances including emergencies. The winner will receive $120,000 and $1500 trophy.

Rosehill

Race 3 in Rosehill has 6 acceptances, with More Joyous as the early favourite and starting in barrier 3. The Gai Waterhouse trained horse More Joyous successfully won his first up campaign at Rosehill by winning the Sheraco Stakes.

Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes – 1500m race has 7 acceptances on Saturday, with $250,000 stake prize; the winner will take out $150,000 plus $1,700 trophy.

Quality Handicap group 2 Ascend Sales Shannon Stakes - 1500m race has 8 acceptances and the winner will receive $105,000 plus $1,700 trophy.

Alea – Colin Stephen Quality – 2400m group 3 races for 3 years old and upwards has also 8 acceptances. Strawberry Boy trained by Gai Waterhouse is one of the acceptances in this race.

Caulfield

Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes – 1400m group 1 race is the highlight at Caulfield on Sunday. The group 1 race will have 15 acceptances. The winner will take out $240,000 plus $2000 trophy and apprentices cannot claim. Peter Moody has entered Moment of Change while Peter Snowden got Pinwheel. Robert Heathcoat has Solzhenitsyn to win the race.
