Big day on Saturday in the races especially at Rosehill, racing fanatics will surely go to the track to have fun and watch the thrilling races.

Rosehill

Rosehill will have 3 group races on Saturday and the highlight among these races is the De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose in race 6. The Golden Rose – 1400m race will have 10 acceptances on Saturday, with prize money of $1,000,000 the winner of this race will have a chance to take out $600,000 and trophy worth 21,400. With a fine weather, Rosehill track is rated a good 3 and the rail is +2m the entire circuit. The open group one race in set weight for 3 years old is going to be a race to watch for. Trainer Peter Snowden has entered two of his trained horse in this campaign, Epaulette and Albrecht while Gai Waterhouse is full of hope that her trained horse Kabayan will win the race. Your Song and Ninth Legion both trained by Anthony Cummings are also horses to watch for together with Amorino trained by Gerald Ryan.

The Sebring – Theo Marks Sprint – 1400m group 2 races will have 8 acceptances on Saturday. The winner of the quality handicap for 3 years old and upwards will have a chance to take out $120,000 and a trophy worth $1,700.

The Kingston Town Stakes – 2000m race in race 7 has a stake prize of $125,000. This group 3 quality handicap race for 3 years and upwards has 12 acceptances and the winner will receive $75,000 and trophy of $800.

Moonee Valley

Dato’Tan Chin Nam Stakes - 1600m is a group 2 weight for age open race with a stake prize of $300,000. With 12 acceptances on Saturday the winner of this race will receive $180,000 and $5,000 trophy. Peter Moody has entered Sneak a Peek which will be ridden by Luke Nolen and will start in barrier 1 while Mick Price is still confident that Heart of Dreams will take out the stake. Happy Trails and Green Moon are also in this race.

It’s a battle within talented mares for the group 2 Top Cut Stakes – 1600m. The race is a weight for age open group 2 races for mares 4 years old and upwards. With a stake prize of $220,000, the winner will have a chance to take out $132,000 and $1000 trophy.
