In race 5 the Chelmsford Stakes 1600m weight for age group 2 races. This race is open for 3 years old and upwards and apprentices cannot claim. With 9 acceptances on Saturday including Lights of Heaven trained by Peter Moody, Centenial Park, Secret Admirer and many others this race will be something to watch for.

Race 6, the Furious Stakes 1400m group 2 race has 12 acceptances on Saturday. This race is open for 3 year old fillies in set weight and apprentices cannot claim. Acceptances in this race include Doubtfilly, Dear Demi, Flying Snitzel, Jade Marauder and Meidung. This race will also be a race to watch for.

Concorde Stakes 1100m group 3 races in set weight with penalties open for 3 years old and upwards. There will be 10 acceptances on Saturday; Gai Waterhouse is an early scratching in the race. Rain Affair and Satin Shoes are among the acceptances in the race.

The Tramway Handicap 1400m group 3 quality races for 3 years old and upwards will have 12 acceptances on Saturday. Peter Moody has entered Moment of Change while trainer Gai Waterhouse has entered 2 runners, Wild and Proud and Kontiki Park. Said Com trained by Chris Waller will also be in this race.

Flemington

It's a fine weather at Flemington on Saturday a perfect timing to watch and have fun in the races. Flemington will have 4 group races on Saturday with the rail in its true position the entire circuit.

The $220,000 group 2 Let's Elope Stakes will have 12 acceptances on Saturday. This race is an open race for Mares ages 4 years old and upwards in set weight with penalties. Trainer Peter Moody has entered Total Attraction while John Sadler has Lady Melksham. Also in this race are Hi Belle, Zurella (NZ), Bonaira and Biancon Rose.

The Danehill Stakes - 1200m race in race 5 is also a group 2 open race for 3 years old. Gerald Ryan's trained horse Snitzerland is one of the acceptances in this race. Snitzerland is a 3 year old filly by Snitzel and has been seen racing in much stronger classes. He run 2nd at the Golden Slipper and recently won the S Domenico Stakes ridden by Corey Brown. Also in this race are Rusambo and Pronto Pronto.

Another group 2 races the $300, 000 Makybe Diva Stakes 1600m race. This race is a weight for age race with 12 acceptances on Saturday. Peter Moody's Manighar will be one of the participants in this race. Manighar was the winner of Australian Cup at Flemington, The Bmw and Ranvet at Rosehill. Manighar will start in barrier 5 and will be ridden by Luke Nolen. Also in this race are Southern Speed, Mawingo, and Dance with Her and Second Effort.
