Belmont

Belmont track is rated a Good 3 and the rail is out by 3 metres the and there will be moderated rain for Saturday at the race. Belmont will have 8 races for Saturday's meeting. In race 1 Songburg is likely to be the best bet in this race. This galloper was trained by Lou Luciani from Ascot; she has 2 wins from her 3 starts to date. She won her last start at this track over a 1000m. Ridden by Jason Whiting, Songburg will start in barrier 2 in a full field of 10.

Caulfield

Caulfield is currently a Slow 7 on the penetrometers and showers on the Saturday's event. With 8 races on Saturday, The Sir John Monash Stakes will be the highlight for this meeting. The Sir John Monas Stakes is a weight for age listed open race and has 17 acceptances for the race including emergencies. With this track condition, Second Effort, trained by Clinton McDonald form Caulfield has won mostly all his run on wet tracks. This galloper has a minimum win distance of 1000m and a maximum win distance of 1200m and will be ridden by Glen Boss

Doomben

Heavy 8 at Doomben's track and Rain will continue pouring specially on Saturday's event and the rail is +1 metre the entire course. With an 8 races on Saturday, Brigadoon Jack, trained by Bruce Hill will be a big advantage among other runners. This galloper is used in racing in wet tracks. His last start was in Gold Coast on a heavy track where he won by a length on a 1200m distance race. Ridden by Kirk Matheson, Brigadoon Jack will start in barrier 6 in a full field of 11.

Morphettville

Currently rated a Dead 5, the weather is overcast and the rail is its normal position. Little Moet, trained by Mark Minervini is the one to beat in this race. This talented filly won her first 2 starts at Morphettville. His last start was a 1000m race where he stormed away winning the race by almost 7 lengths. Ridden by Shane Cahill, Splash of Moet will start in barrier 1.

Warwick Farm

Currently rated a Slow 7 because of the rain but on Saturday's event expect the weather to be mostly sunny so the track might improve for Saturday's meeting. The rail is +5 metres to winning post, +3m remainder. The highlight of this event will be the TABSportsbet Winter Stakes, it’s a Quality, listed and Handicap race for 3YO and upwards. Gai Waterhouse trained horse King Lionheart's first up after a 4 months break. Joseph Pride's See the World will also be in this race.
