Race 3 BMW Caulfield Autumn Classic (1800m)

3 year old colt by Nadeem from Woman In White (FR), Specter is the main competition in this race. This galloper is trained by Mornington trainer Anthony Freedman and will be ridden by Steven Arnold and drawn in barrier 4. Specter is a consistent place getter in Caulfield competing against strong horses but still manage to get placed in the race.

Danger for Specter is Upbeat which is drawn in barrier 10.

Race 4 D'Urban Angus Armanasco Stakes (1400m)

The 3 year old filly by Pins from Splashing Out (NZ) Shopaholic is the main challenger in this race. Shopaholic is trained by Flemington Danny O'Brien and will be ridden by Glen Boss, and drawn in barrier 4. Shopaholic is remembered by racing enthusiast as the winner of The Vanitty 1400m at Flemington and beating the favourite Mosheen. This galloper has 4 wins and 3 placing from its 9 starts to date and can run from 1100m to 1410m and win.

Dangers for Shopaholic are Soft Sand, which will start in barrier 11 and Anabandana, in barrier 1.

Race 5 Cathay Pacific Futurity Stakes (1400m)

King Mufhasa is currently the favourite in the betting and is also the main competition in this race. This 7 year old gelding by Pentire (GB) from Sheila Cheval (NZ) is known as the winner of the Toorak Handicap 1600m in Caulfield and the winner of the Captain Cook 1600m race in Trentham. His last start was in Te Rapa were it ran 2nd for the Waikato Sprint 1400m. Place getter after 2 months of spell is an indication that this galloper is fit and ready to win.

The 3 year old colt by Elusive Quality (USA) from Watchful, Sepoy has an impressive career of 10 wins and 1 place from its 11 starts to date. Sepoy is an absolute winner in this race and also the favourite in the betting. There are strong horses that will compete against Sepoy but he's the one that really standsout in the field. Seeing Sepoy take out the 2012 Oakleigh Plate.

Race 7 Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m)

One of the richest races in Australian racing world will accept 20 gallopers for Saturday. Possible winner in this race is Mick Price trained horse Samaready. This 2 year old filly by More Than Ready (USA) from Samar won the Blue Diamond Prelude for fillies at Caulfield by 3.3 lengths against Formidable and ran the fastest time in the overall race day. Samaready will be ridden by Craig Newitt and will start in barrier 8.

Dangers for Samaready are Formidable, General Rippa and No Looking Back.

Race 8 Carlton Draught Peter Young Stakes (1800m)

The 4 year old mare by Southern Image (USA) from Golden Eagle (NZ), Southern Speed and the 2nd place against the champion mare Black Caviar in the CF Orr Stakes is the main challenger for the Peter Young Stakes this Saturday at Caulfield. This galloper is trained by Morphetville trainer Leon Macdonald and will be ridden by Craig Williams. Southern Speed has won 2 major races in Caulfield, the 2400m Caulfield Cup October last year and the 1400m Barton Stakes January this year.

Dangers for Southern Speed are Manighar and Ranger.

ROSEHILL

Race 6 Hako Australia Apollo Stakes

The very impressive 4 year old gelding by Commands from I Believe and Mr Joseph Pride trained galloper Rain Affair opens the betting as the early favourite. This galloper has an impressive career of 9 wins and 1 placing from its 10 starts to date. Ridden by Corey Brown, Rain Affair won the 1200m Expressway Stakes at Rosehill on a slow track. Rain Affair can handle any kind of track condition and can ran from 1000m to 1200m.

Danger for Rain Affair is Rangirangdoo and Centennial Park.
